This is a book of exercises and solo/group activities for the youngest children (Level 2; up to age 6/7) about Summer and the Summer Holiday! It’s colorful and thematic, fun to look at and play around with, as you explore the different challenges and exercises connected to summer.
About half of the pages require cutting out some material, and half do not. A large chunk of the busy book is educational, practicing core skills like counting, alphabet, logical problem solvoing, and more. As the name suggests, however, the busy book is first and foremost meant as a fun and easy way to kill some time during the summer!
Because this book is for Level 2, it assumes children have at least a very basic understanding of numbers and letters. If their understanding is good enough, they can enjoy and understand this book completely on their own. Otherwise, a bit of help by a Guardian might be necessary. (For younger children, try the Level 1 Busy Book.)
