LEVEL 1

This is a bundle of “prompt cards” about the Arthurian Legends. You can use them for your own activities or projects, at home or in the classroom.

It contains 32 cards with a unique illustration, any associated vocabulary, and a general category (e.g. so you can also play grouping or memory games with them). The document contains card backs, but those are optional.

It also contains these illustrations as separate images and the original editable files. So you can really use them however you like!

We’ve tried to be as accurate as possible, while keeping it simple and focusing on only the most important parts. There is, however, not a single “true” version of these legends and we can’t guarantee the details 100% fit any other stories you might be telling in the classroom. These legends have been told and retold a hundred times, and a little differently each time!

This bundle of work is a bit of a “happy accident”. It was the result of research and work done for other projects that became bigger and better than anticipated, such as our Knights of the Round Table board game. Over time, we kept adding a thing or two about these legends, and we decided to make a bundle.

It does mean that there are some slight discrepancies in style (you’ll notice that particularly if you inspect the raw files), because there was quite some time between the making of different parts. Looking from the outside, though, you probably would not have even noticed if I hadn’t mentioned it ;)

Have fun!

REMARK! In the future we obviously hope to have more products within this theme, such as an actual book of stories/legends. And perhaps a busy/puzzle book or some escape-room-like experience around knights. This is quite a niche topic, though, which is why we’re afraid it will take a while before we prioritize those products!
