LEVEL 1

As we worked on our games (and puzzles) to teach basic shapes, we thought it would be more fun to have the shapes look like something recognizable. (Instead of a white circle with a black outline, for example.) That’s how we started drawing “Shape Animals”, and we couldn’t stop. We ended up with over 50 unique drawings!

These illustrations were merely meant for usage in other products. And you will surely see them reappear there a lot. But we thought some people might like to just have the illustrations themselves on easy-to-use cards, without anything else attached. So we provided this PDF for free!

It allows you to come up with your own activity or use them however you want. We also ended up using this idea of “animals that look suspiciously like a shape” in our stories on this topic, The Shapesquare Stories. So using these cards while reading those stories might be a good idea to start off with.

Have fun!
