Description

This is an educational “aptitude test” for the career of becoming an astronaut! Other names for it are “astronaut job interview”, “so you want to be an astronaut!?”, or “the astronaut trials”.

This means it’s a collection of fun questions (knowledge) and challenging puzzles (skills) that match what space agencies are actually looking for. In a simplified and educational way, of course. It shows kids what the job is all about and lets them discover if they have a talent for it or not.

At the end, you can hand out fun certificates with their scores (or simply confirming that they did the test)!

You can play this activity as a regular quiz (individually), or you can use our bonus material to put players into groups and get a more interactive “simulation” of what it means to be in space together. As always, it uses our custom quiz system, and most questions have an image/video/unique twist.

If you’re looking just for a plain old quiz about space, consider Quiz of (Outer) Space (younger ages) or Quiz of the Galaxy (older ages) instead!

See if you’re cut out to become an astronaut!
