This quiz is pretty unique. It’s not really about the questions and their answers.
Sure, the quiz is filled with simple questions that are fun for children. But it’s mostly about how you give those answers.
You can’t shout your answer, or point at it, or write it down. Instead, you need to use fine motor skills to pick your answer. This requires printing some pieces of paper and preparing some common tools (like scissors), even if you play the quiz “digitally”.
See the list below for the different rounds included. As always, you can easily skip rounds or only play one at a time.
- Cutting -> answer by cutting out the right part of your paper.
- Folding -> answer by folding the paper so only your answer remains.
- Crumpling -> answer closed questions (yes = crumpled paper, no = flattened paper)
- Flags -> answer by raising your paper high (like a flag), with the right side showing
- Tokens 1 -> answer by picking up a pawn/token and placing it on the right location.
- Tokens 2 -> answer by picking up a pawn/token and placing it in the right way. (Examples: upside-down, standing up, etc.)
- Rotation -> answer by rotating your paper to the right side.
- Circling -> answer by encircling the right answer with a pen(cil).
This makes it an ideal quiz to play with (very) young kids. They can get familiar with the idea of quizzes, while being able to use their hands and train their muscles. They will learn a thing or two about these skills and why they are important, while actually practicing the skills.
