This is a physical quiz (not a digital quiz). This means that the child responds by tapping the right answer on the paper, or (roughly) marking it with a pen, or simply shouting the response.
This was chosen for two reasons.
- Young children usually do not possess the skill to write down actual answers (by hand), or use a digital device.
- It’s not good for the growth and development of young children to sit behind screens too much, so we try to keep them out of our resources.
The downside, of course, is the lack of randomization. To “randomize” this quiz, simply present the questions in a different order yourself.
You can do every set of questions as a standalone quiz, or combine them into a longer experience. Each set, on its own, will take about 5 minutes.
hey scale in difficulty as you go. The final set is by far the hardest, as it’s about checking if things are the same based on only one detail (instead of the whole thing). It might take some time and several tries to do it smoothly.
