The new puzzle sensation that combines the beloved crosswords puzzle with a simpler and more creative twist. Puzzles are both smaller and faster, as well as more unique and deeply engaging.
Easy To Learn, Hard To Master: Suspects give clues about words. That word can go in any direction, but it must start from them. Once done, the grid should be cut into different zones by the letters … and only one person—the killer—should be in the same zone as the victim.
The rules easily fit on a single page. Puzzles can stay small—most are just a 6x6 grid with 4 suspects—and the words we’re looking for are common. We want you to fill in “CAT” in the right place, not blindly guess what we could possibly mean with a clue like “a famous architect”.
Despite this simplicity, though, each puzzle takes new insights, clever connections, and step-by-step progress to solve.
5 Difficulty Levels: Mastered the current challenge? A new rule is introduced that keeps the puzzles fresh and exciting. We do not take the easy way out and just make the grids bigger each time!
40 Unique Puzzles: Every puzzle is a new grid with new clues and new rooms to discover. The entire book is designed like a newspaper. Every puzzle contains silly or interesting articles around them, which possibly contain hints, and become more and more connected as you continue …

Standalone: All volumes are standalone. You do not need to own any other CrossMurds book, or do them in order, to enjoy this one. Furthermore, all puzzles are completely handcrafted. Computers wish they were able to generate these kinds of puzzles, but they can’t! Ha!
