This is the second Scribbles puzzle we developed. All you need to be able to do … is fill in a square (“scribble until it’s full”) or not. That’s it.
Each puzzle gives a grid of squares, and some of them contain a hint or “clue” between them. The clue is either “these squares are the same” or “these squares are different” (one filled in, one not). That’s all. It teaches the symbols and concepts for comparisons (equal, greater than, smaller than), while allowing you to practice pencil control and fill the puzzle in a satisfying way.
Because, when you’re done, and you did it right … a recognizable image appears!
As always, early puzzles are very simple and teach the idea. The images that come out are, as expected, not too dazzling. Higher difficulty levels scale up the grids and add rules twists that explore more skills and lead to nicer pictures.
