LEVEL 1

It’s summer holiday and you decide to go on a wonderful trip around the world. Every place is interesting and gives you something worth points. Even better, you are fully in control over how and how quickly you move!

But … each space can only be visited once. By a single player. Then it’s gone forever.

Will you move quickly, snatching up a few of the best spaces? Or will you move slowly and enjoy the scenery, but each space you visit isn’t the greatest?

This game has really simple rules (1 page; see image gallery). Create a random path of Locations, every turn you walk forward by as many spaces as you like, continue until everyone has finished. Combining that with varied and interesting Locations to visit, however, makes it a strategic and fun game for all ages. Locations give you different bonuses, different items, and different actions, and it’s your job to pick the best path forward.

The material is helpfully divided into sets. Each set “teaches” or “explores” one specific skill, such as a set about COLOR and one about MONEY. You decide which sets to introduce, depending on the age and skill of your players, or what topic you want to explore. For young kids this is a very simple and educational game. For older ages, with the advanced sets included, it becomes a highly strategical and tactical game.

The default set—which is used for your first game—is the Counting Set. It teaches the numbers up to 10, which you need to tally points (and see who won!), but is also all you need to play all the other sets afterwards.

REMARK! We used to sell these sets separately, in their own educational categories. Want to explore colors? Buy the base game, then buy the Colors set. But this increasingly felt like a shady sales tactic and led to people requesting for an easy way to just buy one thing with everything inside. So we put the entire bundle back together :)

Finally, the game also includes a strong cooperative variant. It allows playing as one group, instead of against each other, and trying to make the most of this trip together.

Have fun!
