This game bundle contains 6 distinct games using the same material. All these games use the same set of Tangram pieces, and some of them can use (one of) the extra 25 boards. In fact, you can also play those games one one of the boards from Tricksy Tangrams if you bought that product too!
We bundle them to save you ink and cutting, and to provide as much value as possible at once. The games are all clearly different, ranging from very easy to quite challenging, some being cooperative and some competitive. This means there is sure to be a game in there that fits your specific player(s). Especially the easiest games can surely be played with very young Apprentices.
The 25 Pentomino Puzzle Boards provided here are new ones, not found in Tricksy Tangrams. They contain extra icons to make one specific game possible.
This product also includes the massive Pre-Reader Prompt Cards product for free! You need it for one of the games, and it felt bad to ask you to buy it just for that.
This project is part of “Tessella’s Toolbox”. “Tessellation” means the act of dividing a larger shape or image into smaller parts, such as creating a mosaic or a jigsaw puzzle. Pentominoes are just one of many ways to do this, as this bundle asks you to combine them in such a way that you recreate the image of an animal or other common object.
