In Froggy Feast you learn by playing some happy frogs with specific wishes.

All sorts of things fall from the sky: lilypads, fireflies, shapes, colors. Press your button at the right time to stick out your tongue and grab the thing your frog wants! And then press it again, quickly, to make it come back before you accidentally grab a wrong thing.

An educational One Button Game about recognizing and matching a wide variety of things. The fun and simple act of sticking out your tongue to grab them will certainly attract kids and trick them into having a lot of fun while learning ;)

You can expect the usual qualities of our One Button Games.

  • Multiple people play behind one and the same screen, a social experience, together in the real world. This is possible because every player only gets one button!
  • The game is cooperative: you collaborate and want to win together. It plays from 1 to 8 players.
  • The game works with anything: keyboard, mouse, gamepad, and touch screen.
  • In the settings, you can select what topics you want to practice. The options are: icons, colors, shapes, numbers, letters. (The game contains many more settings on top of this to customize the game to your liking.)
  • The UI around the game (settings, text, tutorial) is localized into the languages mentioned. The audio narration and letter-matching are exclusively English, unfortunately, as we currently lack the resources to go beyond that.

At the easiest difficulty, this is all you need to know. Young kids can immediately play, have fun matching what they want with what’s falling down, and press their button to stick out their tongue. At this difficulty, everyone wants the same things too, so you can help each other out. The game is slower and not punishing.

The game also includes a wide range of harder difficulties, though, that add things like …

  • Penalties for accidentally collecting the wrong thing.
  • Tongues getting stuck and unstuck (which can be good or bad, depending on your strategy)
  • Frogs being able to hop around to a better position to grab what’s coming
  • Higher speeds, more randomization, and more things to match. (The default is just icons and colors.)
  • And much more! Still with a single button per player!

Combined with the high-quality visuals and playful theme, we think this is one of the best educational One Button Games we’ve made.

REMARK! You might find the name Tongue Attack mentioned somewhere in the game or its materials. That’s simply what the game used to be called during development! We changed it because it sounded a bit aggressive for an educational game, especially one that’s just some happy frogs sticking out tongues.
