All of life and learning starts by exploring. Exploring the world, being nosy, getting inspired by what others are doing or making. Get inspired. Get curious. Feel alive.
This Faction includes projects in all possible creative categories, from stories, to music, to visual art. In practice, you can view it as the category where things end up if they really do not fit any of the other categories. It contains art. It contains things meant to touch your soul and inspire your mind, with their creativity and expression. It contains life.

Common Charms
Below are the common Charms (types of products) you’ll find in this Faction. Visit their pages for details about what they are and what is inside once purchased.
What can I find here?
Most of this category contains stories. Educational fairy tales or children’s stories, or the “Type B” stories for Saga of Life.
It also contains a lot of music and some paid (video) games.
Besides that, this category contains “extensions” of my usual work. Perhaps I wrote a few tiny stories for Wildebyte Arcades that I thought were good, but are practically impossible to sell on Amazon (which is by far the largest book seller).
Perhaps I have some unreleased demo songs that can’t be published on a streaming service, but which I still want to share. Or perhaps I made something that simply has no other clear “sales channel”.
Perhaps I have some raw, prototype, or simply as of yet unreleased art. All of those things are collected and sold in this category. You can view these as “unreleased gems”, often attached to some existing work of mine.
When should I be interested in this?
Of course, the most important reason to enjoy art is … to enjoy it! You don’t need a reason. If you read the first line of a story and want to know what happens next, read the story. If you hear music and feel like dancing, keep listening.
Explore the explorers category and see what happens.
For those who need more reasons: the stories are often clearly linked to (eductional) products in later categories. Such as fairy tales about shapes that lead into the educational material for it, or a story about wonderful magic that mimics the rules in a board game. Or the “Type B” stories for Saga of Life, a large storytelling project about turning history and science into fairy tales.
Can I customize these?
We try our best to give you full ownership and control of whatever you buy. We know that the things we make will never be 100% perfect for 100% of people.
If you buy a book, you can edit the ebook in a program like Calibre. We put no locks or protection on them, on purpose.
If you buy the album, you get the tracks at the highest quality (and even things like the album cover), to remix or convert however you like.
The source code for all our old video games is even publicly available online, completely free.
If you want more, well, that’s why we created our Sneakpeeks faction. It contains the actual source files, with nothing left out or kept secret, of many projects. We hope you find what you need there—you’ll be able to open those source files and customize them completely however you want.
Why sell it here?
All our other products on this store are only available on this store. But the Explorers faction is the opposite: it mostly contains things that you have been able to buy in the usual places for years. Our books are on Amazon (and all other book platforms). Our music is on Spotify (and all other streaming services).
And sure, we often give you something extra by also releasing all the source files and original notes. But those are in a different Faction called Sneakpeeks.
So why? Why also sell them here? Why are we so adamant about offering everything we do on our own independent store?
Firstly, offering something through as many channels as possible is good for marketing and reach. Having everything in one place is easy for us and easy for customers.
Secondly, we very much don’t want to depend on some big monopolistic platform (Amazon, Spotify, Audible). They might change their terms or remove our work altogether in the future. As history shows, such hostile events are basically a guarantee with any large platform. Control things yourself and shitty companies can’t control you!
