• Video games take away all the setup that otherwise you would have to do. No need to learn rules, or deal cards, or prepare a lesson plan. The game performs the busywork behind the scenes, and players can just play.
• This makes them a very quick and engaging tool for educational purposes too. Children love to play video games and won’t realize they are learning skills and problem solving.

• If you want games to be a social experience, shared by multiple people at once.
• If you don’t want to give your children too much screen exposure.
• If you don’t believe video games can be educational or productive.

This store is set up to eschew digital tools as much as possible. It’s been proven time and time again that sitting alone behind screens is not good for anyone, but especially not good for children and their development. Board games are better in almost all ways.

As such, typical video games as described here will be rare. They will only appear when we have very good reason to make one. Instead, if we make a game, it’s more likely to be a One Button Game that softens most issues with video games.
